A Compact Alternative to Traditional Thermoformed Trays

EZ-Card® medical mounting cards—also known as backer cards, HDPE cards, die cut inserts, or insert cards—are engineered to safely secure medical instruments and devices using a range of integrated retention features. These include our proprietary EZ-Clip™ injection-molded clips, along with die-cut tabs, slots, folds, and straps tailored to your device geometry and packaging requirements.

Manufactured from thin, flexible high-density polyethylene (HDPE), EZ-Card provides a lightweight, space-saving alternative to PETG trays and other rigid packaging formats. The result is reduced material usage, lower shipping volume, and improved pack efficiency—without compromising device protection.

Due to to its flat, low-profile design, EZ-Card pairs seamlessly with Poly/Tyvek® pouches to create a double-barrier sterile packaging system. For applications requiring enhanced protection, EZ-Card can also be combined with our FlexShield® thermoplastic polyurethane film (TPU) to deliver added puncture and abrasion resistance.

With extensive design knowledge and experience, combined with tightly controlled quality management systems and ISO Class 7 and ISO Class 8 cleanrooms, we can provide you with a packaging solution to meet your specific requirements.
